JOB TITLE: Head of Technical Solutions

BUSINESS UNIT/DEPARTMENT: Commercial

LOCATION: Chadderton

REPORTS TO: Commercial Director

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Technical Solutions

ROLE PURPOSE: To help the sales and operations team by creating technical solutions and support designed to encourage monitored technology and integrated security offerings across all accounts to ensure customers get the best security solutions we can provide to customers. Alongside this you will also be reviewing issues and ensuring that systems are performing, and any issues are flagged for review.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Design:

Helping clients to integrated solutions from the outset with a consistent approach to designing security systems on site. Assisting the sales team, where possible, to sell a complete solution i.e. a construction site where we provide temporary solutions moving to an integrated system installation upon completion with a maintenance contract. Consistently approaching all new surveys with the aim of providing the best possible security solution for the needs of each client.

Commission:

24/7 365 operations to ensure all jobs have surveys and any areas for upselling or cross selling are identified and the information is passed across where needed to the client to identify any potential holes in security processes or procedures.

Quality Control:

Monitoring the overall quality of all installations and that all installed systems are correct for purpose. Reporting and providing feedback to Field Operations Managers/Support teams for any and all issues that may occur. Working with our client base and internal teams to provide troubleshooting for problems with our solutions.

Maintenance:

Utilising a data lead approach support field based teams and equipment to flag any potential issues or systems that have passed maintenance deadlines. Monitor usage of Methanol, Hydrogen, and battery systems to ensure they are viable and where needed have been serviced correctly. Support management of deployed technology and where needed redeploy systems to allow for repair work on other systems.

Review & Renew:

Reviewing system activations and working with the RVRC team to make recommendations based on alternative systems based on miss activations, i.e. animals setting off detectors and camera systems. This would then be passed to the sales team in order for them to make contact and upgrade/recommend changes to systems as needed.

Build processes and systems that make selling and delivering integrated security solutions more efficient, maximise revenue potential and deliver results clients expect.
