From property inspections and vacant property alarm systems to Highway safety solutions VPS help a range of customers with the management and maintenance of property, sites, and assets. We employ almost 500 people across the UK, in roles such as security installation, inspections, maintenance, customer services and sales.
The Role:
To provide an operational link to our Regional Key Accounts whilst driving additional revenue through risk review and solution selling. Working alongside the Key Account Team in providing security products, solutions and property maintenance works whilst ensuring the overall VPS service is delivered in line with customers’ expectations and contractual obligations. Whilst supporting the Key Account Managers in the overall management of the accounts it’s essential to develop relationships within the operational network of our customers to ensure quality, SLA’s and KPI’s are delivered to maintain, retain, and increase revenue through a consultancy-based approach which in turn will secure long term profitable business.
What to Expect:
- To support the Key Account Managers in the day-to-day management of the Regional Key Accounts
- To provide pre and post reviews of properties and land to ensure the appropriate level of security has been recommended/delivered to the expected standards
- Carry out regular checks on in-house and outsourced services to ensure standards have been delivered in every instance
- Develop relationships and agree meeting cadence within the customer operational network to become the customers security expert/consultant
- Increase account revenue through initiatives such as T-Track, Squatter movements, breach reports and sector specific campaigns
- Drive Customer engagement
- Work with colleagues to help drive customer excellence
- Support the Key Account Managers
- Build strong peer relationship across VPS’s businesses
- Act as a role model for the VPS DNA
Who are we looking for:
- Proven track record of identifying and rectifying operational deficiencies
- Significant operational experience within the industry
- Proven track record of problem solving
- Strong influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent Skills in developing client relationships at an operational level whilst managing sales, operations and customer relations
- Project managing significant site installations via phone, email and attending site to ensure VPS service delivery is first class
- Good level of IT experience required Outlook email, Microsoft Word, Excel,
- Report writing
- Deal with customer queries and sending quotations
- The right balance of operational experience, commercial focus and attention to detail
- Confident to challenge internal and 3rd party suppliers
- Customer focused – ensuring that services are being seamlessly delivered to the clients
