The Role:

This is an exciting new role for a technical surveyor of domestic primary windows, secondary windows & doors in the Sustainable sector of Evander. You will be responsible for recording accurate measurements and design information, with a high degree of accuracy.

You will work closely with our field management and head office teams to ensure the projects are completed to the highest standard and Right First Time. You will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and customer skills as part of the role. You will be provided with product training, a company fuel card, van, surveying equipment and uniform.

What to Expect:

  • To survey aluminium, UPVC or composite domestic window and door sets
  • Be able to complete ventilation surveys with part F requirements
  • Take pride in your own work and always support the companies’ brand image
  • To always ensure high standard of workmanship
  • To overcome design and ordering issues to resolution and inform the customer where needed in an appropriate manner
  • To manage and take responsibility of your own workload
  • To always ensure great customer communication and service
  • To capture and record accurate survey information required to order products for manufacture
  • To accurately quantify all materials required to complete installations
  • To work as part of a wider team with office and field staff, communicating effectively to ensure with stakeholders
  • To support the wider business where required on glazing, window and door surveying
  • To manage and fulfil all workmanship and product related issues relating to survey related issues
  • To demonstrate excellent personal organisation and adherence to processes

Who are we looking for:

  • Minimum of 5-year’s experience surveying in a domestic trade scenario
  • Significant experience producing technical documentation and adhering to regulatory mandates
  • Experience of quantifying materials in a domestic trade scenario
  • An understanding of working in a variety of domestic settings, including the social housing sector
  • Experience or understanding of installation processes and procedures in a domestic trade scenario
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator and be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills in all interactions
  • Must be able to demonstrate good negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload
  • Team player
  • Self-driven
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
  • Reliable, polite, tolerable, and determined
